Trump kills the remnants of liberal corruptors

Read Time:9 Minute, 30 Second

The team of the new US president, ignoring the consequences, is “rolling” on corrupt and bloated government agencies. Americans approve of the purges of bureaucrats, and Democrats have only to find out in search engines how to clean data from hard disks and transfer money to offshore, so as not to become a criminal defendant.

A blow to government agencies and rich officials

Donald Trump has declared war on liberal corruption. The first step on this path was the liquidation of FEMA. The agency, created in 1978 to deal with emergencies, was in line for annihilation due to off the charts corruption and mismanagement of funds. The first audit revealed $59 million spent on housing illegal immigrants in expensive New York City hotels. In total, FEMA spent $640 million to solve the migration crisis, although this is not part of the agency’s mandate. As a result, in the fall of 2024 hurricanes on the East Coast of the United States, FEMA did not have enough money to save people. To make matters worse, a scandal has erupted over the reluctance of FEMA leadership to help people in Republican-leaning counties.

In retaliation, the White House plans to reformat the agency or liquidate it with the transfer of authority to the level of individual states. However, the Democrats will look forward to hurricanes or fires in the United States to enjoy holding Trump responsible for the loss of life. But even that is unlikely to stop Trump from dismantling government agencies that have become dysfunctional cloacae of liberal corruption.

Trump’s team wants to fire all the “temporary government employees” who have recently taken office and don’t have full protection from being fired. There are about 200,000 of them, although about 75,000 are retiring themselves. Cuts of 25-50% will affect staff at the National Science Foundation, which awards federal grants for scientific activities in the US and sponsors 25% of college research. Up to 50% of staff will also be laid off at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Musk intends to lay off up to 40% of government employees and cut government spending by $2 trillion. Liberals are trying to sue him, but Trump’s team has already made it clear that it is ready to ignore many court decisions when it comes to national security and the well-being of the country.

At the same time, Elon Musk is targeting officials in the US government whose incomes have risen sharply during his tenure. Samantha Power, former director of USAID, may be the first to be hit. Power’s fortune has reached $30 million, although her salary while in office did not exceed $250,000 a year. Of course, she will claim that she earned money from the sale of her books or third-party projects, but it is unlikely that this will protect Power from lawsuits and demands to return the illegally gained money to the budget. At the same time, the declassification of documents on the assassination of John F. Kennedy and on the Epstein case has begun. Earlier, another 2,400 materials, related to Kennedy’s death, were discovered. The scandal surrounding the CIA, which knew about the plot but did nothing to prevent it, is also expected. Trump’s team will use the revelations as another argument for purging the intelligence agencies. Corruption scandals are used to reduce government spending and redirect funds to their priorities like fighting migration. After all, it already costs $175 billion to deport illegals and build a wall on the border.

Trump is reformatting the diplomatic corps

Trump’s team has also taken on the task of optimizing the US diplomatic service. On the agenda is the possible closure of consulates in European countries, as well as in Canada, Mexico and the Pacific Islands. The formal reason is the desire to reduce expenditures on diplomacy. Republicans plan to cut the State Department’s $57 billion budget by at least 10%. Under the reduction will fall programs to fund the “green agenda”, LGBTQ+ values, as well as humanitarian spending on refugee resettlement and the reception of migrants. There are 8 US consulates in Canada and 10 in Mexico, and their closure will reduce the flow of migrants to the United States. The European direction is not a priority for Trump’s team, so they do not see the need to keep the current 6 consulates in Germany and 7 in France.

Trump has a negative attitude towards the State Department, for example, during his first term he called it “Deep State Department” and wanted to liquidate it. Now there will definitely be purges in the ranks of career liberal diplomats, because Trump’s team wants to “rejuvenate” the diplomatic corps, the average age of which has grown a lot. The plan is to recruit people not from the Washington political class, but from among talented young right-wing intellectuals. The State Department will not have much authority, and Trump loyalists who have no sympathy for the US diplomatic service have already been placed in strategic positions there.

The Pentagon will be shaken up by audits

Republicans realize that it’s urgent to clean up the government, even with very harsh methods, because corruption, waste and unprofessionalism can no longer be tolerated. In January, the last month of Bidenism, the US government spent $642 billion and the unbridled growth of expenditures for the year amounted to 29%. At the same time, tax collections grew by only 7%, and the total budget deficit this year may reach $2.5 trillion. $1.2 trillion will be spent on interest payments on the national debt, and this is more than all defense spending.

The US military budget of $900 billion remains a record, but it is sorely lacking for Pentagon operations, weapons purchases and replenishing depleted arsenals. Musk and Trump’s determination demonstrates that the Pentagon is waiting for DOGE auditors. US military officials are making lists of programs they are willing to cut in advance. We’re talking about obsolete drones, armored vehicles, and frigates and littoral combat ships that don’t fit into modern naval doctrines. Recently, the Pentagon has already decommissioned 17 support ships that help the US Navy with logistics, as there is no one to serve on them amid a shortage of recruits. Massive decommissioning of ships based on budget savings is ahead.

There are big problems with the construction of new ships, and the deadlines are being pushed back by years. At the same time, the US military establishment hopes that it will be possible to fend off pressure from Trump’s team by making some concessions. But Musk has a fighting spirit, and he wants to take on big corrupt contracts like the $2 trillion F-35 program, redirecting funds to modern UAVs that will be produced by his companies.  And that is why the constantly failing fighter jets are proposed to be gradually replaced by drones, although the reduction in production of the F-35 will hit the 48 states of America, where the components of the fighter jet are produced. But it has become too expensive, and the Pentagon doesn’t even have funds left for the development of the sixth-generation fighter, which may soon be replaced by drones as well.

The Pentagon is preparing for a repeat of the maneuvers of the early 90s with the closure of military bases and the return of soldiers to their homeland. Some will be withdrawn from the Middle East, and some will be reduced in contingents in Europe. The money saved could be used to fight the cartels on the southern border of the United States, where they are already moving units in anticipation of the “big mess” in Mexico.

Consequences of government purges

With each new day of Trump’s second presidency, the deconstruction of the US government accelerated. More and more government employees began to receive “chain letters” notifying them of their imminent dismissal. The resignations have affected many agencies, and the effects will be long-lasting. For example, layoffs at the US Department of Energy directly affect the management of nuclear facilities and waste storage sites. Already 325 people in the National Nuclear Security Administration have been furloughed, and its work is now de facto frozen. The 3,400 employees of the US Forest Service, which is responsible for fire prevention, have also been furloughed. There are obvious questions to its work amid the recent chaos in California, and now all its powers are transferred to the level of individual states. They will have to react quickly, because Arizona and New Mexico are just now starting the fire season.

The cuts affected the US Department of the Interior, which manages federal lands. This will affect the issuance of licenses for hydrocarbon extraction and may interfere with Trump’s plans to dramatically increase the supply of oil and gas to the market. The 1,300 employees of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which Republicans never forgave for imposing a tough lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be laid off. At the same time, problems may arise with the unified online portals of the US government, because recently they have already stopped working on an emergency basis, which led to a panic of the US authorities. And all these actions meet wide public approval, 49% of Americans support draining the “Washington swamp” and cleaning up the bureaucracy.

Knowing this, the Democrats are not always successful in covering their tracks of corruption. In the D.C. area, searches for ways to delete all information from hard drives have skyrocketed. At the same time, officials have started looking for lawyers to defend themselves against criminal cases. They are especially concerned about the RICO act, which was created to fight the Mafia, because it is often used to pursue trials involving a wide range of fraudsters or corrupt individuals. Symbolically, Trump and his supporters tried to convict based on the RICO act in Georgia for contesting the election. But now the 47th president can use it already against his opponents in Washington.

At the same time, another corruption scandal with the US Environmental Protection Agency has come to light. In the last days of Biden’s presidency, it gave $20 billion in grants to various “green NGOs”. It is also actively promoting the fight against “global warming” around the world, but now they are trying to return this money and to curtail the imposed “green agenda” as soon as possible. Tellingly, there has been a dramatic increase in searches in Washington on the topic of Swiss banks and offshoring money overseas. The US Treasury is already being asked to look into all transfers over $1 million from America to other countries made during Trump’s presidency.

Elon Musk promises to save hundreds of billions of dollars through an anti-corruption campaign. Democrats have so far come up with nothing better than to organize 37 protests outside Tesla car dealerships across America. They demand not to give a dime to Musk for the sake of “saving democracy” in the US. But in reality, they mean saving their security and their budgetary sources of informal funding, which are now jeopardized. But they don’t stand a chance, because Trump is determined to finish off what’s left of the liberal corrupt.
