The U.S. election is over but the struggle continues

Read Time:7 Minute, 56 Second

The presidential election is over, and no one will try to revise its results but the struggle in the Democrats and in the ranks of the Republicans continues. Each of the blocs has its own problems.

The “Blue” remained at the broken trough

Democrats are looking for the responsible of the election debacle, and it’s clearly not the dead squirrel P’Nut and Fred the raccoon, although they have become symbolic. Some are putting the blame on Joe Biden, who allegedly wanted to frame Kamala Harris. Biden called Trump supporters “trash” before the vote. Many people were reminded of the 2016 episode when Hillary Clinton similarly attacked Trump’s electorate, calling his supporters “foul-mouthed.” It sparked a flurry of outrage and cost her the presidency. Others blamed Harris’ frankly weak partner Tim Walz, or the “racism” and “sexism” of Americans who were unworthy of the ‘first woman of color president’ in the person of Harris.

Harris’s staff waited for a miracle, but still admitted defeat, having spent billions of dollars on the campaign and dubious projects. The scandal with stolen money in Harris’ headquarters is also unfolding, her political technologists are accused of wasting a billion dollars on nonsense like Beyoncé concerts. And as a result, a bunch of volunteers are left without paychecks, and now there’s no money for them.

Now the Democrats can only summarize the disappointing results of the election. Harris crushingly lost in electoral votes and electors. Trump received 51% and 312 electors, surpassing the 2016 result. The Republican also won nearly half the vote of all Hispanics, the fastest-growing ethnic group in the U.S. They have been hit hard by the inflation crisis, and they also oppose the importation of illegal immigrants who are taking jobs away from them. Trump’s level of support has also grown among Asians, which makes even more sense.

Exit polls gave Trump 45-55% of the vote among the generation of “Zoomers” born after 1998. And here the Democratic Party’s hopes that a young and ethnically diverse population would allow them to stay in power forever went down the drain. The story of the Muslim community in the U.S. is also very telling. In the city of Dearborn in Michigan, which is called the “Islamist capital” of America, Trump won. The Muslim diaspora ensured Trump’s victory in Michigan, and he is indebted to them, so the diaspora is demanding that Trump de-escalate the Middle East as soon as possible. The Blues have a “civil war” going on, with the left, led by Bernie Sanders, demanding an end to “identity politics” and a return to supporting the working class. The war between the left and the ignorant party top brass will only intensify, and the race-gender agenda is definitely over for now.

Republicans already expect to pick up 53 seats in the Senate, and they may also be successful in Pennsylvania. In addition, the desperate hopes of the Democrats to seize control of the House of Representatives are unlikely to come true, Mike Johnson will remain at least two more years in the Speaker’s chair.

Democrats are embroiled in internal conflict

A fight has also broken out within the Democratic ranks over the position of leader of the “Resistance Movement” to Trump. Kamala Harris was not fit for the role as her career is deservedly over. California Governor Gavin Newsom came to the forefront. He will be dragged by the top of the Democratic Party to the presidential election in 2028 unless they can find a better candidate. But Newsom has one problem: the deplorable state of his state, which epitomizes the decline of liberal America and the left wing of the Democratic Party will not accept this, because it already blames the party elite for losing the election. In this way, the figure of the primitive apparatchik Newsom does not look like a consensus to them.

Because of this, one of the most prominent leftist politicians, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is calling for protests in New York and Chicago. After a short confusion, the leftists organized the first demonstrations. They are already threatening to start a “civil war” in their own party, especially closer to the next primaries. The Left is going to seriously promote its candidates as an alternative to the establishment’s proxies and this time, the new conventional “Bernie Sanders” will no longer arrive at the party elections as a statistic.

Democrats have renewed their reliance on the courts to cause problems for Trump. For example, in the case of the payment of money to a porn actress, a verdict will be announced in three weeks. But they failed to put Trump in jail, even when they were at the height of their influence and he was in opposition. They can’t do it now, especially now that Trump is one step away from returning to the White House.

The Democrats may well take drastic measures at the end of their presidency, raising the stakes sharply in a war with Trump or on the outside. But what prevents them from doing so is a strong party split. The electoral “minority coalition” is falling apart before their eyes, and liberal elites are in conflict with each other with very different views. And then there’s the pressure on Trump to avenge the last four years of harassment, “judicial wars” and assassination attempts.

Republicans are planning a rotation

Trump is picking up the pace with the confirmation of his new team, taking advantage of the chaos in the Democratic camp. He swiftly appointed White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the first woman to hold the post. She has a long history in politics and even worked for Ronald Reagan, and she led Trump to a landslide victory in the election. During Trump’s first term, his Chief of Staff changed frequently, including Reince Priebus, John Kelly, and Mick Mulvaney.

We’re sure to see a certain amount of uncertainty in his second term as well. But right now Trump has a core of loyalists who will be easier to work with. There are also plenty of independents like Robert Kennedy who hope to quickly disrupt the liberal status quo in Washington. The Trump team realizes that they need to act very quickly before the Democrats have time to regroup and the “diplomatic state” to prepare for a counterattack on the Trump administration.

The new president promises to address deporting illegals, firing liberal officials, and end the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East as soon as the first days after inauguration.

Democrats are still trying to gain a new foothold at the state level. In California, Gavin Newsom promises to give “sanctuary” to all those dissatisfied with Trump’s policies and sabotage the Republican agenda. Under Biden, U.S. states like Texas and Florida played such a role. And now their place will be taken by the western liberal states of the United States in a situation where it did not work out at the federal level and it is necessary to arrange a split, declaring a “war” on Washington under the control of Trump.

The “Reds” will hit the U.S. military

In response, Trump’s team plans to mount a “counter-offensive” against the Pentagon, primarily on the fronts of the “culture” wars that are splintering the U.S. military. Like promoting BLM, LGBTQ+ ideology and the transgender agenda, as well as conducting free “sex change” surgeries. This has been one of the reasons for the plummeting number of recruits, with the Pentagon failing to meet its 15-30% recruitment target. Trump intends to abolish these practices, as well as banning “transgender” to undergo military service, in parallel reducing the generals who allowed this order of things.

The leadership staff at the Pentagon is remarkably bloated. During World War II, there was one U.S. general for every 6,000 soldiers, now there is one for every 2,000. Trump will primarily fire generals close to the Democratic Party, while promoting loyal military officers. This may be useful to him in case of a crisis in the U.S. and street riots, which may be provoked by the Democrats.

Republicans want to renegotiate corrupt contracts with the U.S. military-industrial complex, which is shaken by scandals but it is difficult to increase military spending, because the state budget deficit already exceeds $2 trillion. At the same time, Trump’s team will try to find funds for the creation of some kind of air defense system like the Israeli “Iron Dome” over America, which should protect the country from a Chinese strike.

Well, military units will sometimes be removed from foreign fronts to be sent to the southern border of the United States to fight illegals and cartels. This military operation will obviously require a huge financial injection. Trump needs the loyalty of the Pentagon otherwise it will be extremely difficult to carry out his program. In this way, even if Trump has managed to win the election, it is not sure that he will be able to handle some military reforms. Therefore, although the U.S. elections are over, the battle between him and his opponents is still going on, and will not be weakened.
