Top U.S. issue: the culture wars around “transgender” people and their “friends”
In the summer of 2024, the “transgender” wars in the United States reached the Supreme Court with the lawsuit of Democrats against the law banning “sex change” operations on minors in the state of Tennessee. Although earlier similar restrictions have already introduced about 20 Republican states, the White House was determined to openly promote in court the view that children can “change sex” at any age. In liberal states, such a gender agenda is beginning to be promoted in schools as early as first grade. And scandals have erupted in hospitals in Texas and Tennessee over the fact that “sex reassignment” surgeries have been deliberately imposed on children. The main reason is the promotion of hormonal drugs by pharmaceutical companies and making billions. “Big pharma” covers its profits by fighting for left-liberal values.
Some powerful American families, like the Pritzker clan, close to the drug industry, remain on the plus side. At the same time, the “transgender” epidemic in children has led to a 1,000% increase in their number among boys and a 4,400% increase among girls since 2009. Tellingly, as they grow up, many of them repent, regret what they have done to their psyche and body, and try to reverse the changes when it is still possible.
America is in the midst of a “transgender” frenzy. In June, the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston distinguished itself in a situation which led to battles in the Supreme Court. An employee accused her institution of imposing “sex reassignment” surgeries on children at the expense of social assistance programs. The surgeries sometimes cost millions of dollars. Not everyone could afford it, so the hospital, in violation of federal laws, spent money from the Medicaid program, created to provide preferential medical care to poor Americans. There are already many such scandals in the United States.
Earlier, the “transgender center” at St. Louis Children’s Hospital was accused of using experimental hormone drugs without parental approval. Side effects were often hidden from parents, including puberty blockers and the fact that the drugs could have irreversible consequences that children would have to deal with for the rest of their lives. The Transgender Center was mainly used by children with diagnosed psychological disorders, but instead of receiving psychological help, they were referred to hormone therapy, which often led to suicide. Besides, the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Tennessee has admitted to making good money from these surgeries and therefore agitating children to “change their gender.” This is reminiscent of the story surrounding the “gender identity” clinic in the British city of Tavistock. There thousands of children were forced to undergo “hormone therapy” and believe that “sex change” would solve their mental problems, while anyone who didn’t like it was accused of “transphobia”. Republican states are beginning to ban child abuse practices but in liberal states, they are encouraged, and the “transgender” issue becomes a stumbling block in the culture wars that are splintering society.
Most Americans believe that gender is born with and cannot be changed. Two-thirds of the population oppose “transgender” participation in sports, and the same two-thirds disagree with the imposition of “puberty blockers” and other hormonal drugs on children. However, Biden’s team has no choice but to promote the “transgender” frenzy on the eve of the election, because their sponsors in the form of the aforementioned Pritzker’s clan are capitalizing on it. Although this is clearly a losing issue, it will definitely strengthen the position of Trump, who promises to declare war on the “transgender” agenda, which has bored the public.
The culture wars are splintering the Pentagon. Republicans in Congress passed their draft military budget for 2025. They emphasized a ban on the Pentagon paying for abortions or “sex reassignment” surgeries, even though that’s what “transgender” people are being lured into the service. In addition, the Republicans demanded to stop the imposition of a race-gender subpoena in the army, as it has already become one of the reasons for the decline in the number of people willing to serve. The Pentagon is at risk of falling 25 % short of its 2024 recruiting goal. The chronic shortage of recruits has not gone away, and this year the Pentagon will be short of tens of thousands more recruits. They have to recruit everyone, including “transgender” people.
The Boy Scouts have also undergone a “progressive” rebranding. The movement has faced numerous scandals and is in a state of semi-decay. Ex-Boy Scouts began filing lawsuits accusing the movement’s leadership of condoning pedophilia with at least 8,000 pedophiles who have been found among Boy Scout leaders. At the same time, the number of their victims could be as high as 100,000 teenagers.
Under judicial pressure, the movement had to declare bankruptcy, and the organization’s debts reached half a billion dollars. Now the Boy Scouts hope to be reborn in a new format. They are renaming themselves “American Scouts” and are going to actively accept gay and “transgender” people into their ranks. Given this fact, scandals around the “new” Boy Scouts are unlikely to end. Well, pedophile scandals, which often occur because of excessive concern for the rights of LGBTQ+ and, especially, transgender people, are becoming something routine in America.
Pedophiles have been found on the U.S. Olympic team, where they molesFƒted gymnasts, in the CNN newsroom, and even among Biden’s Influencers. In Democratic states like California or Michigan, pedophilia is already being de facto attempted to be decriminalized. Such experiments by liberal elites only lead to more and more pedophile victims in all spheres.
There are less painful topics, but no less important, and now the Dove Corporation is at the epicenter of America’s culture wars. It has made a scandalous liberal activist named Zyahna Bryant its “Influencer,” and she immediately called on everyone to fight for “fat liberation” in a new Dove ad. Bryant epitomizes “body positivity,” but she’s known for more than that. In 2016, the activist began desperately fighting monuments to Confederate generals. As a result, Charlottesville decided to tear down a monument to General Robert E. Lee. Right-wing activists came to the city to protest against this and had a big fight with “antifa”. The result was the death of one left-wing activist and the defeat of the right-wing movement by the hands of the FBI. A couple of years later, in the wake of the BLM pogroms, Bryant also managed to ruin the life of a woman she didn’t like, who accidentally drove her car into a crowd of BLM pogromists and couldn’t get out. It seemed to Bryant that the woman was trying to run them over intentionally.
So she organized a bullying campaign, demanding that the driver be expelled from college and jailed. Bryant later admitted that she might have been wrong, but the job was done. Now the activist has been made the face of Dove’s ad campaign. The corporation obviously wants to repeat the “successes” of Bud Light, which had a collapse in sales after advertising with a “transgender” and became a real threat of bankruptcy. Dove is now eing boycotting too, and rightly so, because the more often corporations face real losses, the less motivation they will have to push an agenda, including the “transgender issue.” Disney in Florida, target has already been burned on this, and now it’s Dove’s turn.
Incidentally, Florida, which is the center of opposition to the “transgender agenda” and other liberal “social perversions,” has been at the epicenter of the culture wars more than once. The state is pursuing major education reform, limiting the imposition of the LGBTQ+ and racial-gender agenda in schools. In addition, history in the state will now be taught in a more patriotic way. The new curriculum has already caused an uproar, with the White House accusing Governor Ron DeSantis of trying to whitewash slavery. The Florida history course now says that slavery, though an immoral institution, allowed many blacks to gain job skills.
The attempt to portray the U.S. past in a positive light is a response to the introduction of critical conceptions of the study of history, such as the “1619 Project” in liberal states. The project views American history only through the prism of racism and oppression of minorities, and the very formation of the United States is interpreted only as an episode of the planters’ struggle to preserve slavery. In addition, Democratic states are actively enforcing the current liberal agenda, with first graders already being told about “transgender”.
Against this backdrop, attitudes toward the educational system are sharply deteriorating, with only 28% of Americans having confidence in schools and 36% having a favorable view of higher education, and universities have already experienced a precipitous drop in enrollment. Republicans are already taking advantage of this, and they are putting colleges on the verge of bankruptcy under their control and changing the curriculum, removing from it “schizoid disciplines” like racial and gender agenda, and in Florida colleges may introduce a mandatory study of the history and philosophy of the United States and Western civilization under the patriotic angle.
No doubt this will further divide America, where education is becoming very left-wing in some states and very right-wing in others. A radical split is also taking place on the issue of attitudes towards BLM, LGBTQ+ and the notorious “transgender” people. The U.S. has many economic, social and foreign policy difficulties and as a symbol of the cultural wars in the U.S., “transgender people” and their “friends” have become almost “America’s top issue”.
