The Biden family’s multifaceted problems escalate as the U.S. presidential election approaches. Part 1

Read Time:8 Minute, 5 Second

November started with very good news for the Biden family, and the president is no longer facing an investigation into the illegal handling of classified documents. Appointed special prosecutor Robert Hur released a report where he harshly criticized Biden’s actions, but did not press charges. Recall that last January in Joe Biden’s garage, as well as in his center at the University of Pennsylvania, secret documents that had been stored there for many years were discovered. This is a clear violation of the law, but as with his corruption, Biden has once again managed to get away with it through a shady deal with a controlled Justice Department. Similarly, in 2016, the FBI harshly criticized Hillary Clinton for storing classified docs on her email server, but without indictment, even though Trump has been threatened with 20 years in prison for lesser transgressions. The apparent hypocrisy and voting rights, however, are not well-liked by Americans, which nullifies the overall benefit Biden gained from actually closing this case. In the polls, two-thirds of the public resents Biden’s violations of the law, and the investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax evasion and illegal gun possession is still ongoing, and hitting his father’s reputation hard before the election. Thus, in a Marquette University Law School poll, which came out almost immediately after Hur’s statement, Trump was beating Biden by a 4-point margin, with 52% against his opponent’s 48%. At the same time, Biden himself began joking about the possibility of his replacement in the election for California Governor Gavin Newsom, although in reality such a move is unlikely, and the White House host will fight for him to the end.

Biden’s health continues to “upset” voters as well, and in the fall he stood up like a stoop and lost during a flower-laying ceremony at Arlington Cemetery in memory of fallen veterans, during which he called conflicts “an integral part of American history”. It wasn’t a good move because the Democratic electorate isn’t enamored with militarism. At the same time, protesters surrounded Biden’s Delaware residence, and in fact, he was able to move to Arlington in time to avoid meeting them. Apparently, he’s finally caught up with militarism, and the activists threatened Biden with electoral consequences for “genocide” in Gaza. It is not for nothing that the ratings of non-systemic candidates who are in favor of peace, such as Robert Kennedy and Cornel West, are only growing and totaling up to 28%, and recently Jill Stein from the “Greens” ran for election. He will be another competitor for Biden and will take away his votes, but not Trump’s. Against this backdrop, the absentee war between the two main contenders in 2024 is heating up, and the incumbent has started throwing insults at his primary opponent, calling Trump a “loser” and a “Nazi”. Clearly, Biden is severely knocked out by his lag in the polls behind Trump, and is therefore making moves that are not always well thought out. Numerous criminal cases against Trump have failed to undermine his presidential campaign, and the Democrats’ strategy to discriminate against the former president has failed. Courts in Michigan and Minnesota have refused to disqualify Trump from running for office, and only in Colorado is the trial still ongoing, but even there the chances are slim. In addition, Trump tried to be thrown out of the election for organizing a “rebellion” with the storming of the Capitol, but everything is still unsuccessful in this direction. Electoral models show that if the election were held tomorrow, Trump would get 292 electors compared to Biden’s 246. Trump would win easily in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia, almost repeating his 2016 triumph. Trump’s lead over Biden at one point grew to 4-5 points as a proportion of 49% vs. 45% nationally, and likewise in key “swing” states. There has been total panic in the Democratic Party camp for months now over Biden’s low ratings and melting chances of winning in 2024. In addition, there is no time left for Biden’s replacement, because the primaries start in January, and even theoretically his “replacement” will not be able to join the race later than February-March.

The most nightmarish for Biden Sr. was Thanksgiving-2023, when his ratings plummeted, and the NBC poll released at that time clearly threatened the president’s electoral prospects in 2024. At that time, his personal rating had fallen to the all-time low of 40%. Already in that poll, Biden was trailing Trump with 44% compared to his opponent’s 46%. Back in September they were on equal footing, and in July Biden was noticeably ahead of Trump, but the reasons for the drop were the White House’s perceived weakness in the face of the Gaza war, attacks on U.S. bases and chaos in the Middle East. 62% of Americans are dissatisfied with Biden’s foreign policy because most of them favor a ceasefire in Ukraine and Gaza, where they see their country’s “invisible” involvement, but Biden continues to stubbornly demand money from Congress for Ukraine and Israel, continuing a course of militarism that benefits elites but not his own liberal constituents. Biden’s birthday was also on a very negative note. Democrats bombarded him with questions about his health, panicking about his low ratings and Biden’s apparent inability to mount another presidential run. Trump mocked Biden by releasing a medical report on his excellent health right on his “holiday”. Biden also takes medical tests, but they are completely unpublished, and the results of cognitive tests, with which Biden has the biggest problems, are classified. Democrats in Congress responded by talking directly about the need to “eliminate” Trump before the election, and although they formally meant it in the political sense, they hinted that there could be physical elimination as well. Such hints are a clear sign of the desperate situation of the Democrats, because in the latest polls Trump is already beating Biden by a large margin. Moreover, Trump is rapidly gaining popularity among the traditional electorate of the Democratic Party: 46% of American youth are ready to vote for Trump, while only 42% are ready to vote for Biden. In addition, the Republican candidate is supported by 22% of blacks, which was only 12% in 2020, as well as nearly 40% of Hispanic voters.

In yet another poll, this time by Emerson, Trump beat Biden by a mere 4 points with 47% vs. 43%. Trump isn’t even particularly hampered by spoiler candidate Robert Kennedy, with Trump ahead of Biden in 11 of the 13 polls released last November, and leaving Biden in a strong lead in some. This is shocking to the Democratic establishment, and the liberal MSNBC channel has already been scaring viewers that if Trump wins, he will start jailing and shooting everyone he doesn’t want, resulting in the complete end of American democracy. However, so far only Trump and the Democrats themselves are trying to put people in jail, but all for the sake of saving that very “democracy”. The chaos in Washington is playing into Trump’s hands with a divided Congress and its clash with the White House. For 2023, Congress has only managed to pass 21 bills, setting an anti-record. Biden’s agenda, whether it’s tranches to Ukraine and Israel or migration incentives, continues to be blocked, turning him into a “lame duck,” even though his confidence level in Congress has collapsed to a low of 13%. At the end of last year, Biden tried to somehow pull up his ratings at the expense of a temporary truce in Gaza, concluded on his birthday, but it only exacerbated the divisions in Washington. The liberal wing of the Democratic Party demanded a permanent truce, the “militarists” wanted to fight until Hamas was defeated, which tore the president almost to pieces.

Late last year, the U.S. presidential race became extremely tight and acrimonious. Trump then hosted a scandalous show on Fox News where he avoided answering the question of whether he wanted to become a dictator. Trump joked that he wouldn’t mind being a dictator for a day, which caused a real panic in the liberal public. Biden, meanwhile, for some reason admitted that he went to the polls only because of Trump, apparently trying to portray himself as the “savior of democracy” from the evil dictator. Indeed, this doesn’t really correlate with the prosecutorial attacks on Trump and attempts to put his main opponent in jail, although this has become the norm for many “liberals”.  The Democratic Party’s political technologists are feeling very anxious because the primaries have already started and replacing Biden with someone else is not a good idea. Now it has also come to light that he was in direct negotiations through anonymous email accounts with Hunter Biden’s associates who were bribing the entire family. The progressive community is predicting the most apocalyptic scenarios for the U.S. in 2024 from the establishment of Trump’s one-man dictatorship to the outbreak of civil war. What is clear is that with Biden’s corruption, the court wars surrounding Trump, and international instability, the 2024 election promises to exacerbate the systemic crisis in Washington to the breaking point. And if this one is a national tragedy, personal trouble may already be befalling the Biden family itself, in which Joe may lose the presidency and political influence in his old age and his son Hunter may find himself behind bars. However, the end of 2023 was only the beginning of the Bidens’ problems and worries. But what began to happen to them already in 2024 and in its immediate run-up, we will tell you in the second part of our article.
