Natural disasters and personal problems are playing against Justin Trudeau

Canada’s odious Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to put cruel liberal experiments on his country, and he is showing “progressive” views even in his personal family life. In August, he announced his divorce from his wife after 18 years of marriage, following in the footsteps of his father, who was also Canadian prime minister and divorced his wife in 1977. But now Trudeau’s divorce risks exacerbating the situation in Canada, already in political crisis, and jeopardizing the career of such a “promising” politician. Trudeau’s wife was actively involved in campaigning for her husband in the 2015 election and largely helped him then to win and become prime minister. For some time there have been rumors about Trudeau’s extramarital affairs, and could lead to a divorce. Trudeau’s political future is not very clear right now.

The ratings of Trudeau and his fellow party members leave much to be desired, because during the years of his premiership, many corruption scandals have formed around him. For example, he received lavish gifts from billionaire Karim Aga Khan in exchange for giving away government contracts to his firms. Trudeau was also was giving a billion-dollar contract to WE Charity, a charity that paid lavish fees to his family. In sum, the classic simple scheme worked, which boiled down to handing over some of the profits in the form of bribes to Trudeau and his officials in exchange for generous payments to businesses at the expense of Canadian taxpayers. In Canada, the scandals over the imposition of euthanasia, which is carried out under Trudeau’s patronage and about which we wrote in a previous article, are not subsiding. In addition, the situation with fires, of which there were about 1,000 raging in Canada during the peak of the problem, has been greatly exacerbated in the summer. The area of the fires was comparable to the size of Switzerland. Smoke reached many metropolitan areas in the U.S. and even Norway. And the reason for the fires is very poor forest management and lack of controlled burning of deadwood, which is precisely the result of poor management based on bribes and government budget exploitation. Trudeau himself, realizing his guilt for this situation, which is hitting his rating, is constantly trying to beat the agenda with trips to Ukraine, which according to his plan demonstrate his international authority in the cause of “protection of democracy”. Along the way, he has already given away so many weapons to the AFU that he has emptied Canadian arsenals, which have been left without missiles and tanks. As a result, his Liberal party is lagging far behind the Conservatives in ratings. And the current divorce may be the final nail in the coffin of Trudeau’s failed premiership, which may end his political career after the next election.

And yet, the quintessence of all Trudeau’s blunders and the main blow to his party’s ratings were the catastrophic forest fires. Because of them, in August a large-scale evacuation of the population in some regions of Canada was announced. The local government and rescue teams even had to save entire cities of British Columbia for tens of thousands of people, because they were spreading with incredible speed and continued to devour hundreds of thousands of hectares of forest. The total area of fires was 130,000 square kilometers, which is comparable to the size of Pennsylvania, Greece and Tajikistan. The Canadian authorities urgently sent the army to extinguish the fires and asked for help from other countries. But the Canadian army, which was supposed to provide assistance in overcoming natural disasters in peacetime, was in a deplorable condition after the emptying of arsenals amid conflicts in distant Europe, behind which there was a clear trace of Trudeau’s negative activity.

Smog from the fires reached many cities in the U.S. and even Scandinavia at the peak of the disaster. The Trudeau cabinet, in typical Liberal style, blames “global warming” for everything, and is everywhere publicizing the theory that because of rising temperatures, the area of fires this year is 6 times higher than average. However, the opposition points to a very poor forest management system. In Canada, only 23 controlled fires of dry forests have been set during the year, although in the neighboring USA they are held more than 100, 000 every season. Against this background, there is also a censorship scandal. Facebook, as part of the Meta corporation, began blocking news from Canadian media, protesting against the law that requires paying local journalists for views. Then the struggle between the Canadian Liberals and the IT giants meant that not everyone could find out about the fire and evacuation situation on social media, and that was probably Trudeau’s conscious plan. But there is no doubt that Trudeau himself is already a “lame duck”, and amid all the problems, his rating will get lower and lower, and he is unlikely to go for re-election, realizing the outcome of this move. His Liberal party, after Trudeau’s failed premiership, will not do well in the elections either. And the fires continue to rage, and against a backdrop of deteriorating infrastructure and economic problems, risk further exacerbating the current crisis across North America. Trudeau is pioneering a situation in which ill-conceived ultra-liberal policies are leading to the actual destruction of many state institutions and quite tangible disasters and calamities. And the response of the electorate does not keep him waiting, even in very liberal Canada. However, other “leaders of a bright future” may follow in his footsteps, but that is another story.
